Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will engage in governance activities, use evidence-based practices, and coordinate with the care team to plan and evaluate patient care across the continuum.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and time management are essential. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification required; telehealth may require state licensure in client location.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practices to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
