Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered care teams. In this role you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with physicians and other clinicians, monitor conditions, adjust care plans, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

You will maintain accurate EHR documentation, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and may float to other units as needed to meet patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges in the state.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Knowledge of EHR documentation and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
