Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within our CT facilities. The RN works under the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model, emphasizing autonomy, accountability, and collaboration with the health care team.

Responsibilities cover assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, with emphasis on communication, ethics, and culturally competent practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current CT RN license; BCLS certification within one month of hire.
• Competence in ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement and evaluate nursing plans using the ANA standards and SPIRE framework.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality outcomes and safe patient care.
