Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered care team in Connecticut. The RN will provide nursing care within the CT Nurse Practice Act and YNHHS standards, participate in professional governance, and collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to achieve quality outcomes.

Applicants must be currently licensed in Connecticut and possess or obtain BCLS certification within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• All newly hired Registered Nurses must have current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Standards of practice guided by ANA and YNHHS professional practice model in delivering patient-centered care.
• Maintain professional governance, collaborate with the health care team, and ensure quality nursing practice.
