Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered care team in New Haven, CT. The RN upholds the YNHHS mission, vision, and values while practicing under the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards, and our SPIRE advancement program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• STANDARDS OF PRACTICE: RN practice guided by ANA Scope and Standards; uses nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate.
• STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE: ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement.
