Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Registered Nurse is the foundational job description for all RNs.
• Licensure: Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of employment.
• Physical Demands: Requires prolonged standing; walking; exposure to infectious diseases and challenging patient care scenarios.

Responsibilities

• STANDARDS OF PRACTICE RN practice is guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice (2015).
• STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE The RN is accountable for professional actions to themselves, peers and society.
• May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed.
