Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Connecticut to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the CT Nurse Practice Act and within the YNHHS framework.

The RN will apply ANA standards, coordinate care with the health care team, and strive for optimal outcomes. BSN preferred; CT RN license required; BCLS certification required or within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; clinical specialty certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Uphold ANA Standards of Practice and YNHHS governance; deliver patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with the health care team, ensure effective communication, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
