Job summary

The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess patients, develop and update individualized care plans, and communicate with the health team using SBAR.)

You will educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, respond to emergencies, and maintain safety and infection control throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN within 5 years for nurses hired after Jan 2010.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient holistically across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Develop and revise a multidisciplinary care plan with measurable goals.
• Communicate plans using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Provide education to patient and family and participate in discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety and infection control.
