Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care within our team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patient populations in Ohio, adhering to ANA code of ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Required: Ohio RN license, BLS; ACLS within 6 months for certain units; BSN within 5 years for new hires; strong teamwork and communication; commitment to professional growth and documented care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license (license required)
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact
• ACLS within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas
• BSN within 5 years for nurses hired after Jan 2010

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, family, and environment for safety; communicate changes to physician and team.
• Coordinate plan of care using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Initiate discharge planning and refer appropriately.
• Respond to emergencies with precision and accountability.
• Document nursing care and plan of care in the EMR.
