Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered nursing care in a dynamic hospital environment. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care aligned with cultural values and preferences.

The role emphasizes education for patients and care partners, adherence to safety standards, and participation in quality-improvement activities. Requires an RN license and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BSN or equivalent advanced degree preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year RN acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care required.
• Ability to educate patients and care partners on conditions and treatments.
• Familiarity with discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Proficiency in health information documentation and safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care using evidence-based practice.
• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and priorities.
• Use information systems to communicate, monitor outcomes, and support safe care.
• Work in inter-professional teams to ensure compassionate, coordinated care.
• Participate in committees and quality/safety improvement activities.
• Support staff development and act as a preceptor when appropriate.
