Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration with patients, families, and care partners.
• Knowledge of diverse backgrounds and ability to respect and connect with individuals.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of partnering with patients and families in health and care planning.
• Ability to delegate appropriately to team members with respect.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning and implementation of treatment plans.
• Knowledge of education techniques for patients and care partners about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
• Knowledge of medication administration and prescription processes.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and arranging follow-up care.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis and clinical judgement and documentation.
• Knowledge of health information documentation methods.
