Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care across hospital and practice settings in the Philadelphia area. The role requires professional nursing competencies, collaboration with inter-professional teams, and commitment to safety and quality improvement.

The position is full-time (36 hours weekly) with day shifts, float between Bucks, Frankford, and Torresdale, and eligibility for the comprehensive Jefferson benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care in care planning.
• Cultural awareness in diverse patient populations.
• Effective communication with patients, families and team members.
• Knowledge of post-discharge planning and care coordination.
• Understanding of health information documentation practices.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient safety.
• Ability to educate patients and care partners on conditions and treatments.
• Ability to collaborate within inter-professional teams.
• Familiarity with basic life support protocols (BLS).
