Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a part-time registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care in an acute setting. You will assess needs, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate patient management.

Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care, PA RN license, and BLS required. BSN preferred; benefits include medical insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
• BLS certified (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BSN degree preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.
• Shift/Hours: Part Time/Days – 24 hours weekly (7a-7p).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Interacts with patients and families to address learning needs and discharge planning.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to coordinate care.
• Participates in committees and professional development activities.
