Job summary

Allina Health in Fridley, MN is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead one or more patient care areas. This is a 1.0 FTE day-shift role with no weekends, guiding nursing practice and coordinating care to meet standards of practice.

You will oversee strategic department plans, recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians and other care teams to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care. Requires RN licensure and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 3 to 7 years of clinical experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Management: Develops and oversees department/program to align with mission, vision and goals.
• Clinical Practice Knowledge: Defines standards of practice and supports policies and procedures.
• Performance Improvement: Ensures safety, regulatory compliance and quality of care.
• Leadership of Nursing Staff: Leads recruitment, onboarding, coaching and performance evaluations.
• Financial Management: Manages budget and resource utilization.
• Other duties as assigned.
