Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Completion of “Healthcare Provider” CPR course, bi-annually.
• One-year Registered Nurse experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient using nursing process.
• Plan and update written care plans.
• Implement nursing care and administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Coordinate with health team and family for discharge planning.
• Provide patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Document patient status in the medical record.
• Communicate patient status to physicians and care team.
• Manage daily patient assignments and priorities.
• Participate in teaching and quality improvement activities.
• Potentially serve as charge RN and precept new staff
