Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing program required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required for various units.
• Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS.
• One year RN work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and precept new hires.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines and monitor patient condition.
• Plan and evaluate care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patient and family appropriate to age and culture.
