Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced registered nurse for night shift in Pembroke Pines, FL. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet clinical needs, while guiding students and new staff.

The role requires an Accredited Nursing Program, Florida RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS are expected for many units. Strong assessment and education skills are essential for patient and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program completed and eligible for licensure in Florida.
• RN license in Florida required or in process with active status.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS often required for specific units.
• Fetal monitoring certification or ability to obtain.
• One year of work experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition and referrals.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education appropriate to age and culture.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel; may precept students and new hires.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
