Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role. The RN will provide skilled clinical care, monitor residents, and ensure care plans are followed, with shifts 7:00am to 7:30pm every other weekend.

Per diem is available for all shifts, and compensation ranges from $37 to $46 per hour, all inclusive, with daily pay option. We seek compassionate team players committed to dignity and well-being in a 120-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
