Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (Level I–IV) for Labor/Delivery in Fresno, California. Part-time, 12-hour day shifts. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process and may expand scope by department criteria.

Requirements include CA RN licensure, C-EFM within one year, AHA CPR, NRP within 90 days, ACLS within 90 days, and strong communication and teamwork under pressure. Equal opportunity employer.

Job description

Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Labor/Delivery, the Registered Nurse (Level I, II, III or IV) is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse, after appropriate educational preparation, is capable of expanding the scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing. The criteria and specific job duties of the three levels are defined by each department area specific criteria.

Pay Range: $46.01 - 66.73 *May be adjusted based on career ladder placement.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required.


• 2. Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification from National Certification Corporation is required within one year of hire or transfer into the position.


• 3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.


• 4. Current American Academy of Pediatrics Provider Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) card is required within 90 days of hire or transfer into the position.


• 5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire or transfer into the position.


• 6. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel is required.


• 7. Ability to handle varying issues in the midst of any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team within a stress-producing environment is required.
