Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time day shift in Omaha, NE. The RN will oversee medical services, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, documenting in EMR, providing discharge planning, and maintaining safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of service.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Knowledge of EMR systems (KIPU preferred).
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients and observe behaviors; report to the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and provide patient education.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain safety.
• Provide admission, orientation, education and discharge planning to patients and families.
• Collaborate with team to develop and implement treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report facility needs.
• Conduct vital signs and document in patient records.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, policies, and confidentiality.
• Support QA and coordination with utilization review and managed care.
