Job summary

Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC in Omaha, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. You will oversee medical services, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care for patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

The RN will document care, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning, while maintaining professional boundaries and complying with licensure standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification current and nationally accredited.
• Knowledge of EMR systems (KIPU preferred).
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report observations to the team.
• Administer medications and participate in education.
• Use de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Develop admission, orientation, and discharge plans with the team.
• Contribute to treatment plan development and discharge planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance needs.
• Document vital signs, symptoms, and care notes in the patient record.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
