Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka is seeking a registered nurse for a part-time role (24 hours/week) at our Apopka campus. The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with BLS; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.

Shifts are Thursday and Friday, 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, in Florida. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the medical team while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Florida
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality, safe care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control standards.
