Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time day shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer meds, and educate patients and families. Collaboration with the care team and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing and an RN license with BLS certification. Prior acute care experience preferred. Salary is based on experience and unit needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
