United Surgical Partners International is looking for a RN PACU Overnight Stay in San Antonio. The position focuses on providing high-quality nursing care for patients post-surgery, ensuring safety and comfort. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited RN school, hold an active RN license, and have BLS and ACLS certifications.

This role is weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends, but may require early mornings and late evenings. A minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care is preferred.

RN PACU Overnight Stay

San Antonio Med Center Surgery Center is hiring a RN PACU Overnight Stay

Welcome to San Antonio Med Center Surgery Center We have 3 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pain Management and Spine. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Responsibilities

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. The RN may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. The RN will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
