Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking an RN PACU Manager for Bucks County Surgical Suites. The role includes nursing leadership, policy development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The candidate will manage PACU and pre-operative areas and participate in quality improvement efforts. Requires a nursing degree, current state license, CPR and ALS/ACLS certifications, and at least one year in an intra-operative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required; advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements nursing philosophy and objectives consistent with the Center's goals.
• Develops policies, procedures, and staffing to achieve center objectives; collaborates with Administrator and staff.
• Evaluates programs and patient care activities.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards and regulatory agencies.
• Maintains documentation of patient care meeting legal and health standards.
• Prepares nursing schedules and manages staffing.
• Implements infection control and safety practices; supports quality improvement efforts.
• Leads relationships with center staff and medical staff and supports EDGETM responsibilities.
