Job summary
Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Diagnostics PACU. This day-shift role (4x9-hour shifts, Mon-Fri) involves assisting with cardiac testing and post-procedure care for both inpatients and outpatients.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of PACU/CCU (ICU/ED) nursing experience, a BSN, and VA RN licensure, plus BLS (AHA) certification at start. Benefits include health coverage, retirement matching, education assistance, mental health
Qualifications
- One year of PACU or Critical Care Nursing (ICU/ED) experience is required.
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at start.
Responsibilities
- Assist with TEEs, stress testing, and cardioversions for inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assist in prep and recovery of patients undergoing TIVA/general anesthesia for these procedures.
- Work closely with anesthesiologists, cardiologists, and echo techs to perform procedures.
