Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Diagnostics PACU. This day-shift role (4x9-hour shifts, Mon-Fri) involves assisting with cardiac testing and post-procedure care for both inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of PACU/CCU (ICU/ED) nursing experience, a BSN, and VA RN licensure, plus BLS (AHA) certification at start. Benefits include health coverage, retirement matching, education assistance, mental health

Competenze

Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Cardiac Diagnostics

Job Description

Inova Fairfax Hospital is hiring a full-time RN to join their Cardiac Diagnostics team! This is day shift role Monday-Friday; working 4x9 hour shifts per week. Shift start times vary from 0630 and 0700. No night, weekend or holiday requirement.

Our nurses assist with cardiac testing for outpatients and inpatients to include trans esophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), cardioversions, tilt table tests (TTTs), and cardiac stress tests. Prior acute care experience will be required, and cardiac, critical care or procedural experience is preferred for this position.

The RN will assist with TEE's, stress testing, and cardioversions for both the inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assist in both the prep and recovery of patients undergoing TIVA/general anesthesia for these procedures and will work closely with a great team of anesthesiologists, cardiologists, and echo techs to perform these procedures.

Cardiac Diagnostics RN PACU Qualifications:

• One year of PACU or Critical Care Nursing (ICU/ED) experience is required
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associate's degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at start

Cardiac Diagnostics RN PACU preferred qualifications:

• 2 or more years of PACU or critical care nursing (ICU or ED)
• 2 or more years of experience on cardiac related unit; including experience with rapid response and MSET situations
