Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Main PACU in Clear Lake, TX, for a 13-week contract. The role involves post-anesthesia patient care, monitoring vitals, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Main Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery protocols and discharge plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an active state license.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
