Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-Operative Services for a fast-paced PACU setting in Walnut Creek, CA. The role involves preparing patients for surgical and procedural diagnoses, performing preoperative tasks, and supporting a broad age range from infants to centenarians.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in Pre-Operative care, pediatric experience preferred, CA RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical and procedural diagnoses across a wide age range (8 weeks to 100 years).
• Assist with preoperative calls and labs, perform EKGs and nebulizer treatments.
• Support a fast-paced PACU/Pre-Operative unit with autonomy and teamwork.
• Coordinate care with intraoperative and postoperative teams to ensure smooth preop process.
• No vent management required on this unit and maintain a high standard of patient safety.
