Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a dedicated RN to join the PACU team, providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing anesthesia and helping them recover with compassion and clinical excellence. You will monitor patient conditions, implement, monitor, evaluate and revise care plans, administer prescribed medications, and document responses.

• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.

• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required
• One to two years of critical care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
