Job summary

The PACU Registered Nurse at Cynet Health will care for patients recovering from surgery, monitoring vitals and administering medications as needed. You will float within specialties, including possible rotation with pre-op, and cover weekends. Requires strong PACU/ICU experience and active Maryland RN license.

Candidate must have BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIH certifications and be able to maintain a 1:4 patient ratio, with potential travel to sister facilities as necessary.

Qualifications

Hours per Shift: 3x12 (07:30 - 20:00 / 19:00 - 07:00)

Experience: 2 years of PACU experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong 3-5 years of PACU experience or 2 years of ICU experience required

License: RN state license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH

Must-Have:

• Strong clinical skills in PACU and ICU
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4
• Experience in charting systems preferred

Description:The PACU RN will provide care to patients recovering from surgery.The role involves monitoring vital signs, assessing patient status, and administering medications as needed.Candidates must be comfortable working with all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.The patient population will include those undergoing orthopedic, neurology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, and gynecology procedures.Floating within specialty is required, including possible rotation with pre-op.Candidates may also be asked to float to a sister facility as necessary.Weekend coverage is required, equivalent to every other weekend.On-call requirements have not been implemented for this position.The successful candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience in critical care and recovery settings.Compliance with hospital protocols and procedures is a must.
