Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide post-anesthesia care for adult patients in a high-volume PACU within a level 1 trauma center. The role requires collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams and strong independent communication in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have PACU experience, NY RN license, and AHA ACLS/BLS certification, with at least two years of experience. Schedule is 36 hours with rotating D/E/N shifts including holidays, weekends, and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• PACU experience required.
• ICU experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RN license valid for NY state only.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for recovering post-op adult patients in a fast-paced PACU.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams in a level 1 trauma center.
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

Responsible for recovering post-op adult patients. Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced nursing environment with a wide variety of post-op patients. High volume and acuity PACU in a level 1 trauma center. Positive attitudes and direct communication are the unit standard. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently needed.

Requirements

Schedule
