Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to manage all aspects of nursing care in the Cardiology/Pacemaker-ICD Clinic. The role requires clinical assessment, device checks, and collaboration with cardiologists.

You will educate patients, coordinate follow-up across inpatient and outpatient settings, and document findings accurately. The position is onsite at 81 Highland Avenue with a 30-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• RN license must be current and in good standing.
• 3+ years of Pacemaker/ICD clinic experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or assist with in-clinic device checks and interrogations.
• Monitor and review remote device transmissions and escalate abnormal findings.
• Assess patients for symptoms, arrhythmias, and potential device-related complications.
• Educate patients and families about device care and remote monitoring.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, device representatives, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate follow-up care and share device-related information across settings.
• Document device evaluations, findings, interventions, and follow-up plans.
• Support safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in the Cardiology/Pacemaker-ICD Clinic.
