Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society Oberlin, KS provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with residents, families and the care team to plan and evaluate care.

May serve as charge nurse, delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensure safe, reliable resident care in accordance with state practice acts and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to license and unlicensed personnel within scope and competency.
