Job summary

Good Samaritan Society Oberlin KS facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care across all phases of care, collaborating with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks within licensure and staffing guidelines.

The role requires an RN license in the practicing state, a BSN preferred, and graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Multistate licensure via NLC if applicable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education, and nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff within scope.
• Follow Nurse Practice Act and ethical standards for professional nursing.
