Job summary

AdventHealth Calhoun is seeking an experienced RN for full-time day shift in the Endoscopy/Surgical Services unit. You will analyze assessments, plan patient care, educate patients, and assist with perioperative procedures, ensuring safety and quality throughout care.

The role requires an active Georgia RN license and BLS CPR; 1+ year in Med-Surgical, Surgical, or Endoscopy nursing is preferred. Associate degree is required, BSN preferred. Salary range is posted and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 1+ years of Med-Surgical, Surgical, or Endoscopy nursing experience preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes with the care team.
• Educate patients on procedures and ensure patient safety throughout care.
• Assist with patient preparation for surgery, including IVs and handoffs with surgery.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Administer medications accurately and in compliance with policy.
