Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications with a focus on patient safety. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), current RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of OR or Surgical Center experience.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing skills and certifications required.
• Strong computer and EMR proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Organizational skills for care planning and multitasking.
• Professional telephone etiquette and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on physical, emotional, and social health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings, setting goals and outlining interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient care issues and ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
