Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with a wide healthcare team, and participation in quality improvement and evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license with BLS certification, possess strong English communication skills, and have prior hospital/acute care nursing

Qualifications

• RN license and hospital/acute care experience required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Fluent in English (read, spoken, written).
• Experience educating patients and families is expected.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather histories.
• Develop and implement SMART care plans with patients and families.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights; protect confidentiality.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers and other clinicians.
• Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
