Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will coordinate care with the care team, adhere to standards of practice, and support exceptional patient outcomes within a hospital setting.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate license) and BLS certification, with a focus on professional growth, accountability,

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
  • RN license in the State of Georgia required (NLC/eNCL multistate license acceptable).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to maintain quality nursing care.
  • Maintain standards of practice in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
  • Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
  • 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
