Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following established nursing processes and hospital policies.

You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, maintain standards of practice, and contribute to quality patient outcomes. RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS are required; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN licensed in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate) required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience
