Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, using established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will operate within organizational policies and lead care coordination for assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate where applicable).
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in alignment with organizational policies.

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
