Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following established nursing processes. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within our policies, maintaining professional growth and accountability while coordinating care across the unit.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, and a nursing degree from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Georgia RN licensure required to practice.
• BCLS certification required; advanced certs as applicable.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred; new grads eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities, maintain standards of practice, and support quality nursing care.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. • No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
