Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Baudette, MN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care across chemo and non-chemo infusions and surgical patients. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with ports and catheters, covering pre-op through the postoperative period, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Minnesota (MN).
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 12 months.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing chemo and non-chemo infusions and injections.
• Maintains and provides care of ports and catheters used for infusions.
• Deliver quality surgical nursing care to adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric surgical patients through all phases of the nursing process.
• Provide comprehensive perioperative care from pre-op to immediate postoperative period.
• Educate cardiac and/or pulmonary patients (and families) to manage disease and improve quality of life.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized education plans to enable skill development for disease management.
