Qualifications

• Basic Life Support and CPR required.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment essential.
• Two to three years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing chemo and non-chemo infusions and injections
• Maintains and provides care of ports and catheters used for infusions
• Delivery of quality surgical nursing care to adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Comprehensive care of the surgical patient during pre-, intra-, and postoperative periods
• Educate patients and families to manage cardiac and pulmonary disease and improve quality of life
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized education plans for skills development in cardiac/pulmonary care
