Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide exceptional care for outpatients in the Burn program. You will supervise nursing interventions, guide team members, and coordinate care across disciplines to ensure detailed care plans are followed.

Ideal candidates hold a California RN license with BSN/MSN, BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications, and burn experience. The role is on-site in West Hills, CA with a focus on patient and family education and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA required.
• ACLS certification from AHA required.
• PALS certification from AHA required.
• 1 year of Burn care experience preferred.
• Ability to assess patient, family and staff learning needs and develop care plans.

In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for Outpatient Burn patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.

Salary range: $62.43-$92.81/Hourly

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional who is ready to join our team with:

• Current valid California RN license required

• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
