Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide outpatient burn care, supervise nursing interventions, and coordinate patient care.

You will assess patient, family, and staff learning needs, deliver clinical education, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement detailed care plans.

A California RN license, BSN/MSN, and essential certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) are required, with at least one year of burn experience.

In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for Outpatient Burn patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.

Salary range: $62.43-$92.81/Hourly

Qualifications

• We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional who is ready to join our team with:
  • Current valid California RN license required
  • BSN or MSN, required
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association required
  • PALS from the American Heart Association required
  • 1 year of previous Burn experience, required
  • Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
