Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Travel RN for the Ortho unit at HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO. The assignment supports 7A–7P scheduling with tasks across adult ortho/neuro care and joint procedures.

The unit emphasizes teamwork, patient experience, and strong outcomes in a Magnet-recognized setting. Ideal candidates bring solid Med/Surg experience, BLS, and a patient-centered approach; ACLS and Ortho/Spine exposure are nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Experience in Med/Surg required.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on ortho/neuro unit.
• Collaborate with coworkers to manage patient flow and safety.
• Document care and coordinate with physicians and case managers.

• Number of Beds -36
• Number of Staff – 27
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – 1 charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 Techs, 1 secretary
• Night Shift – 1 charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 Techs
• Patient Ratios – RN 5:1, 8-12 patients per tech.
• Type of equipment – Immobilizers, braces, cold treatment.
• EMR -Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
