Job summary

2100 Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL seeks an RN for the Ortho/Spine Unit. This full-time role is 36 hours per week, nights 7:00pm-7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires BSN or higher, 1+ year inpatient RN experience, IL RN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure is required.
• CPR Certification issued by AHA or ARC is required.

• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and work as part of a care team.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need

• Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
• Required Education, Skills and/or Experience: Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting; Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Required License and/or Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure; Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
