Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring an RN for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. Night shifts are 7:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. Full-time, 36 hours per week. Requires Bachelor’s in Nursing, 1+ year inpatient RN experience, IL RN license, and CPR certification.

New minimum base pay starts at $37.25 per hour beginning with the second paycheck in October. Benefits and career growth opportunities are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• 1+ years RN experience in an inpatient unit setting is required.
• If you hold an ADN, you must complete a BSN within five years of start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure is required.
• Current CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and function as a team member to meet unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need:

• Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
• Required Education, Skills and/or Experience: Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Required License and/or Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do:

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
