Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state where services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: less than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools.
• Creates and implements plan of care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnoses, intervention, evaluation).
• Identifies patient safety concerns and addresses them with appropriate resources.
• Provides education tailored to the patient’s learning needs.
• Assesses patient data to determine age-specific requirements across the lifespan.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Demonstrates teach-back to confirm understanding of education.
• Applies evidence-based nursing practices in patient care.
• Participates in patient-centered care models and unit goals.
• Maintains accountability for delegated nursing tasks.
